The Institut du Monde Arabe Launches the Second Edition of the Arab Fashion Award Presided over by Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, the IMA reaffirms its role as a bridge between Arab creation and the Parisian scene
Following a successful launch in 2025, the Institut du Monde Arabe (IMA) is stepping up. The Arab Fashion Award returns for a second edition with a clear ambition: to consolidate the creative axis between Arab capitals and Paris, while providing an international showcase for both emerging and established talents from the region.
This year, the award welcomes a prestigious patron. Her Royal Highness Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud will preside over the jury. As a leading figure in the Middle Eastern industry and the founder of Saudi Fashion Week, her presence highlights Riyadh’s growing importance on the global fashion map and the IMA's commitment to creating concrete synergies between traditional craftsmanship and the sector's vibrant modernity.
"The Award enriches an already dynamic ecosystem, where numerous initiatives are emerging across the region, from Beirut to Dubai, Marrakech to Riyadh." — IMA
A Global Vision of Creativity
The award goes beyond mere aesthetics; it celebrates innovation, entrepreneurship, and heritage across four major categories. The competition will distinguish Emerging Talent for the faces of tomorrow's fashion, as well as Creative Entrepreneurship for those who blend artistic vision with solid business acumen. Technical mastery will be honored with the Creative Excellence and Craftsmanship prize, while the Accessories Talent category completes this panorama of contemporary creation.
In addition to these distinctions, the jury will have the freedom to award a Special Mention to recognize the unique approach or exemplary career of a designer from the Arab world.
How to Apply?
The call for entries is officially open to all designers from Arab League member countries or their diasporas. For those still refining their portfolios, the deadline has been extended until June 8. The climax of the competition will take place during Paris Fashion Week, with the awards ceremony scheduled for September 30, 2026.
