Zegna's New FW26 Su Misura Service Campaign When a suit becomes a legacy

In Zegna's language, "Su Misura" is not simply a tailoring service. It is an experience rooted in the idea that a made-to-measure garment is never just an object to be worn. It is something that takes shape around a person, accompanies their gestures, preserves their moments and, over time, becomes a memory to be passed on. At the heart of everything lies the concept of legacy. Every piece is created with the intention of containing an entire life: not merely clothing it, but telling its story. This is why Su Misura does not simply craft a suit or a jacket. It builds a unique wardrobe, shaped around the person who chooses it, capable of carrying with it identity, emotion and traces of those who have worn it.

Behind every creation is a dedicated team that interprets the style of those who entrust themselves to this journey. The silhouette is defined with millimetric precision, while a vast selection of exceptional fabrics and hundreds of personalisation options allow every detail to be tailored: buttons, linings, finishes. The result is a unique and unrepeatable piece, conceived to reflect the character of the person who will wear it.

Within Su Misura, three pieces coexist, each distilling the brand's history and values. The Trofeo fabric, created in 1965 by Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna, remains one of the house's most prized materials. Made from superfine Australian merino wool, it combines softness to the touch with resilience and longevity. Sixty years after its creation, it retains its undiminished ability to unite refinement with everyday performance.

The Suit No. 1 is an icon of the Zegna heritage. Inspired by the Founder's suits from the 1930s and crafted in pure Australian wool, it is considered the maison's first suit. A piece that speaks of continuity and roots. The Falcon Jacket, meanwhile, is born from a deep connection with the Oasi Zegna, the hundred-square-kilometre territory in the Italian Alps where the brand's values and vision are grounded. It is an essential outerwear piece, capable of uniting functionality and elegance. The name evokes the falcon and its ability to perceive what escapes the eye — a quality the Founder deeply admired.

The FW26 campaign introduces the Su Misura experience through a story starring Mads Mikkelsen, the brand's ambassador, who is seen bringing one of his jackets to the tailor to have it altered for his son. This is not merely a technical adjustment: it is a gift passed from one generation to the next, a quiet acknowledgement that something meaningful has taken place.

The story closes with the tailor's reflection on the true meaning of his craft. As he works, shaping the fabric with his hands, he understands that his task is not simply to create a beautiful garment, but to give form to the shoulders that will carry a great story. He has seen men face the most important moments of their lives and, each time, he has caught that brief instant of silence in which they begin to see themselves differently. It is for that silence that he works. To understand the man before him and build a wardrobe that reflects his character and his journey: this, according to Zegna, is the noble work of the tailor.
