The Air Jordan 11 gets reimagined by COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS The collaboration drops on September 5th with two colorways, patent leather, and a campaign shot in Tokyo

COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS presents its own version of the Air Jordan 11, for the FW 2026 season. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 11 was first released in 1995 and is distinguished by its use of patent leather, which brought a level of formality to the basketball court never seen before.
The brand puts forward a reinterpretation that takes its cue from that very patent leather: the midsole features a glossy finish that extends its effect across the entire shoe, while the upper and lining alternate between full grain leather and patent leather. The logos are embossed on the leather, while the tongue features the word Homme Plus, rendered in the original typeface of the Air Jordan 11. Two colorways are available: black and white.
Photographs by Goldie Williams Vericain document the project, shot in front of the Comme des Garçons flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo. Originally opened in 1980, the space was reopened in 1999 following an architectural project developed by Rei Kawakubo and Takao Kawasaki. In the images, the Air Jordan 11 is paired with looks from the Homme Plus FW 2026 collection, defined by structured tailoring.
Over the years, the Air Jordan 11 has transcended the world of sport to make its mark in fashion and entertainment as well. It is precisely this combination of performance and elegance that Homme Plus engages with, through its own approach to shape, proportions and construction, delivering a shoe that brings together the heritage of the silhouette and the sensibility of the brand.
The COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus Air Jordan 11 will be available from September 5, 2026 at a selection of Comme des Garçons stores worldwide, at Dover Street Market in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Tokyo, and at other select retailers.
