The 5 strangest items sold by fashion houses What happened to the clothes?
Fashion brands are no strangers to differentiating their offerings. Starting out as tailoring houses or leather goods shops, today the biggest Maisons go far beyond clothing. From beauty to hotellerie, from art to interior design, in short, you could fill an entire house only with items signed by luxury fashion houses. There are those who are linked to sectorial brands, such as Bottega Veneta, which collaborated with Zanotta to create The Ark line of chairs, or those who take up their tradition, as in the case of Hermès, which continues to produce horse-riding objects. However, not all the items sold by the Maisons have a direct link with their DNA, on the contrary, over time they have strayed further and further away to embrace absurdity and frivolity. Precisely for this reason we searched all over the internet for the five strangest items sold by fashion houses.

Dior released a few days ago what could be the very first luxury pilates kit, consisting of a mat, weighted cuffs (both white and blue), exercise ring, resistance bands and yoga brick. The equipment is part of the Maison's new “Haute Wellness” line, in what would seem to be a rather shameless attempt to capitalize on the entire clean-girl aesthetic. Successful attempt, given that the mat with the logo with the iconic Dior motif, sold for 850 euros, is already sold out on the site.

What is surprising, however, is that between a pair of skis and several sticks you can also find a sled for adults worth 10 thousand euros. Toboggan that, according to what is reported on the site, would be “light, fun and easy to use”, but which strangely resembles an iron rest.

With the case painted in Ancora Red burgundy, the tools are handmade, cost 580 euros and, strangely enough, are still available for purchase.
