Stone Island and Dave unveil the new custom made collection Stone Island continues its "Community As a Form of Research philosophy"

Combining technical expertise and a close connection to the music world, Stone Island worked with British rapper Dave to create a custom-made stage wardrobe for the tour supporting "The Boy Who Played the Harp", the artist’s third album. Completing the project, the documentary created by photographer Bolade Banjo offers an intimate look at the tour experience and the shared vision between artist and brand.
The collaboration also includes an exhibition at Dover Street Market, titled Stone Island Selected Works: Archival Pieces From The Collection Of Dave ‘016–’026, curated by Dave and Stone Island archivist Archie Maher. The exhibition presents a selection of stage wardrobe pieces and archival garments from the artist’s personal collection, worn during the most significant moments of his career between 2016 and 2026, a testament to a relationship built with the brand over time.
Among the key pieces are a jumpsuit in double layer iridescent grey metal mesh and a two piece over-dyed suit available in red, bright blue and grey, both featuring camouflage prints and reflective details. The lineup also includes hooded jackets, layered mesh vests and nylon trousers, created with a highly reflective camouflage print achieved through a coating containing thousands of glass microspheres, producing unique brightness and chromatic depth.
For the occasion Stone Island also introduces a limited edition capsule inspired by the tour wardrobe, reinterpreting the reflective coating through a resin bath incorporating glass microspheres. The camouflage print is applied using direct-to-film technique through digital printing on adhesive film heat transferred onto the fabric followed by the application of an additional reflective layer. All pieces feature an internal label reading “Specially Made For Dave, The Boy Who Played the Harp” along with the Stone Island badge with white Compass embroidery, symbol of the brand’s technical research and philosophy.
With this project Stone Island continues its Community As a Form of Research philosophy, combining technical innovation with dialogue with the music world. An approach that strengthens the brand’s position in the contemporary landscape and its active relationship with its community, turning every project into a collective milestone.
The collection will be available starting March 5 2026 at Dover Street Market in London and from March 6 at selected Stone Island stores and on the Stone Island website.
