Tech Pack Lab: all the secrets of Tech Pack Fall 18 Discovering the customization at Nike Tech Pack Fall 18

The Tech Pack is the latest innovation in the apparel made by Nike: innovative materials and dynamic shapes have been designed to perfectly fit the body of athletes and more.

We had the opportunity to attend an exclusive customization experience at the Tech Pack Lab in Milan, to get into the heart of the collection and understand what is behind the Tech Pack Fall 18.

The journey inside the Tech Pack world starts with an installation that invades the entire Nike Lab store in via Statuto 18: the items of the collection run on a mechanical roller, passing through a scanner that reveals all the details. It is therefore possible not only to see and touch the product, but also to fully understand its characteristics. Downstairs there is the real customization workshop, where you can customize one or more Tech Pack items (purchased directly at the Tech Pack Lab or at other stores). The emblems of the city of Milan - the Biscione, the Duomo and the Madonnina - are some of the screen prints that can be applied on Tech Pack items; there is no shortage of Swoosh in different colors and sizes, and of the encrypted numbers that are one of the hallmarks of this Tech Pack collection.

The journey through the Tech Pack Lab ends with an exhibition dedicated to the garments made during the Tech Pack Atelier: the three protagonists One Block Down, Capo Plaza and Federico Bernardeschi, working in collaboration with Mini Swoosh, Virginia Arcaro and Valeria Semushina, have, in fact, recreated and reinvented the items of the collection by telling their own story.

Federico Bernardeschi's jacket was designed with the intent of telling his story at 360 degrees. The reproduction of his tattoos entirely covers the surface of the garment, combined with the Carrara marble plectrums that tell the player's passion for music and for his hometown.

Even Capo Plaza has opted to redesign the jacket, to which Virginia Arcaro has decided to apply symbols that tell the story of the young rapper; a demon on his back is the wish that the photographer wanted to leave at Capo Plaza.

Lastly, the creation of One Block Down and Mini Swoosh, is composed of a jacket - made from two different garments - and a double-face utility vest made from the "waste" materials of the previous creation. Mini Swoosh, has in fact used approximately 95% of the material at her disposal.

If you were not able to participate in the Tech Pack experience at the Tech Pack Lab, good news: it will be possible, after purchasing a Tech Pack item, to register here as a Nike Member and to partecipate to the exclusive events with Bernardeschi, Capo Plaza and Mini Swoosh from 11th up to 14th September.
