The exhibition "Dal Cuore alle Mani: Dolce&Gabbana" makes its worldwide debut at Palazzo Reale, offering an unprecedented immersion into the history of the maison of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The exhibition, curated by internationally renowned art and fashion curator Florence Müller, begins its traveling journey from Milan, from April 7th to July 31st, 2024, and then touches some of the most prestigious cultural centers in the world. "Dal Cuore alle Mani: Dolce&Gabbana" celebrates ten of the greatest cultural references that have inspired the two designers over the years, revealing the creative process of the maison also through the participation of the atelier's tailors, present in one of the exhibition rooms to show visitors the behind-the-scenes of their work. In addition to tangible artworks, the exhibition presents a series of immersive installations and digital artworks, elements that interact with the brand's creations to create a journey that explores the main themes characterizing the distinctive style of Dolce&Gabbana, from visual art to architecture, from music to Italian traditions, to the lively dolce vita.

The exhibition begins in the outdoor spaces of Palazzo Reale, where digital artworks created by renowned contemporary visual artists offer a new interpretation of Dolce&Gabbana's creations. Among the artists involved are Felice Limosani, Obvious Art, Alberto Maria Colombo, Quayola, Vittorio Bonapace, and Catelloo. On the Noble Floor of Palazzo Reale, visitors are welcomed by a sequence of ten rooms that explore the fundamental themes of the maison. One room is entirely dedicated to Handmade, another celebrates the art of Venetian glassmaking, with chandeliers and mirrors reflecting the details of the garments. There is also a cinematic tribute to "The Leopard" by Luchino Visconti and a dive into the past and the stylistic codes of the Baroque. The exhibition also offers a close look at the architectural and pictorial influences that have left a mark on the creative direction of Dolce and Gabbana, as well as a tribute to the rich Sicilian artisanal tradition. The journey concludes with a room dedicated to the connection between the world of Opera and the creative vision of the maison, in a setting full of pathos and sumptuous details, music, and suggestive lights that emphasize its grandeur. "Dal Cuore alle Mani: Dolce&Gabbana" represents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the creative universe of two of the most influential designers in the contemporary fashion scene, exploring the cultural roots and innovation that have made the brand a global icon of Made in Italy fashion.
