Issue 03 of Issued by Bottega, the digital magazine that Daniel Lee launched a few months ago to share his aesthetic vision of Bottega Veneta with the brand's many fans, is out now. The new pages are, as always, textless and focus on a catchy mix of images exploring the latest creations of the British designer, but also the artists who inspire him and who are revisiting cult Bottega items. Some examples? The New York sculptor Erika Vogt turns Puddle boots into giant installations, the creative duo Isabel + Helen (Isabel Gibson and Helen Chesner) creates an inflatable version of the Pouch bag and Cassette bag, More & More plays with the patterns and textures of the brand, Nan Goldin portrays the singer Kelsey Lu and the designer Valentina Cameranesi Sgroi presents her Etere Glass Collection.

The gallery of Issued by Bottega 03 also includes many of Lee's muses such as DJ Honey Dijon wearing an animalier outfit, Japanese composer and percussionist Midori Takada, glassware designer and sculptor Ritsue Mishima, Manchester City footballer Raheem Sterling or stylist Stefano Pilati. Among all these celebrities, the most unexpected is Ornella Muti. Daniel Lee confessed in an old interview that, together with Monica Vitti, the actress symbol of the made-in-Italy cinema of the 80s represents his ideal of beauty and inspired him at the beginning of his work as director of Bottega Veneta.

"In the very early days of Bottega, we immersed ourselves in the rich heritage of Italian cinema by watching Fellini and Visconti and we were obsessed with Monica Vitti and Ornella Muti. - Lee told Cultured Mag - It gave such an insight into Italian culture—the life, the warmth of spirit and sexuality—which we have since channeled into the work".
