Ryan McGinley - The Four Seasons

Trained at Parsons Design School, Ryan McGinley is one of the most important photographers nowadays, best known for his portraits. His photographs - often taken on film sets - aim to representat themes like youth, liberation and hedonism. He prefers nudes and explicit scenes with no censorship, in accordance with his adolescence spent in an underground environment without rules.

From February 19 to May 15 the GAMeC - Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Bergamo - dedicates an exhibition to the American artist, his very first in Italy.
