Blackpink's Lisa to headline Fortnite Festival The collaboration will be available from 29 November until January 2026
How did the Fortnite Festival become almost more important than Coachella? In recent years, Epic Games’ spin-off game has become a true cultural magnet, capable of attracting some of the most relevant names in the contemporary music industry. After The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, the Gorillaz, and Sabrina Carpenter, now even the most famous K-pop idol in the world — with over 106 million followers — Lisa of Blackpink, officially enters the biggest arena in the digital world.
When does the new season of Fortnite Festival start?

Lisa officially makes her solo debut in the gaming world as the Season Icon of Season 12 of Fortnite Festival. The new season begins on November 29, 2025, coinciding with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7, continuing the new K-pop era inside the game, especially after last month’s collaboration with Netflix’s instant cult hit Kpop Demon Hunters.
Throughout the season, which will run until January 2026, players will be able to unlock dedicated content through the Fortnite Festival Starlux Music Pass and through the in-game item shop. The collaboration is not just a single skin to use in-game but is built as a mini-universe inspired by Lisa’s debut album, “Alter Ego”, featuring outfits, music tracks, and accessories connected to the characters the artist created for her solo project.

At the center of the collab are the digital versions of Lisa: players will be able to obtain different variations of her skin, inspired by the Alter Ego aesthetic, including a light and a dark version that recreate the looks seen in the visuals and videos of her solo era. One will be tied to the Fortnite Festival Pass, while the other will be available in the shop for V-Bucks, along with exclusive accessories and items.
The musical element is equally important, as the game will feature as Jam Tracks at least the two main singles from Lisa’s debut album, “Rockstar” and “New Woman” (and possibly the lead single, “FUTW”). Players will be able to use them both in the Festival mode, as tracks to play and perform, and as background music during their Battle Royale sessions.
Why this collaboration is important
The collab consolidates Fortnite Festival’s role as a hybrid platform between gaming and pop music, while now expanding the geographical reach of its influence by tapping into one of the largest gaming markets in the world, Asia. Lisa becomes the first major K-pop star to lead a Fortnite Festival season, thanks to her solo career and not only her identity as a member of Blackpink.
For Epic Games, this means engaging with the most active fandoms in the world, Lilies and Blinks, who are used to supporting their idol in every project, from international tours to beauty campaigns, all the way to her TV debuts and even cabaret — and it’s worth noting that Lisa has been dominating EMV rankings for years, fashion week after fashion week.
It’s also worth noting that this is not Lisa’s first appearance in a video game. Alongside the other Blackpink members, she helped establish a trend across the entire Korean entertainment industry. First with avatars on Zepeto, then with their virtual concert on PUBG Mobile which even introduced an unreleased track, “Ready for Love”, and finally with their official mobile game Blackpink: The Game, which produced the single “The Girls” as part of its soundtrack.
