5 things to do in Paris this weekend
From April 4th to 6th
April 11th, 2025
In the blink of an eye, the week is already over, and the weekend is just around the corner. At the same time, spring has made its grand return to put an end to our winter woes. It's time to enjoy the unusually mild temperatures and longer days by venturing out of your cocoon. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to suit all tastes. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.
Where to eat: At L’Attache
Just a few days left to discover the free and precise cuisine of Balthazar Gonzalez, in residence at L’Attache until April 19. In this raw and warm 11th arrondissement bistro by Matthieu Bellaiche, the Toulouse-born chef (formerly of Hedone) offers a lively, instinctive menu designed to pair with the venue's natural wines. Straightforward plates, spot-on combinations, and that rare feeling of discovering something just right — unpretentious yet well-crafted. Among the recently served dishes: egg, green asparagus and wild garlic; squid with lobster coral; rabbit saddle with Swiss chard; honey and citrus financier… But the menu changes constantly, sometimes daily, depending on inspiration and arrivals.

To discover: Paris Noir at Centre Pompidou
For nearly fifty years, Paris was a gathering point for artists from Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States. A place of transit, exile, but also of creation, where another art history was invented – more political, more fluid, more free. The Paris Noir exhibition revisits this forgotten side, from the founding of Présence Africaine in 1947 to the 1990s. It reveals a transnational scene led by figures such as Césaire, Nardal, and Loïs Mailou Jones, who redefined the boundaries of modernity by blending political struggles, multiple identities, and aesthetic research. Paris, often blind to this role, appears here as an unexpected laboratory of Black expression, between pan-African alliances, formal experimentation, and cultural affirmation. A long-erased story that is finally finding its place.

Where to have fun: At Maison Perrier
For the first time, Maison Perrier steps outside the box and invites the public to discover its four alcohol-free drinks at Galerie Joseph, on April 12 and 13. On the program: immersive scenography and a series of experiences around Forever, Juice, Energize, and Chic — four creations based on fruits, vitamins, and natural ingredients, designed to combine freshness, style, and vitality. Each drink comes to life through a talent: a dress by Kevin Germanier made from recycled cans, a participatory mural by Léona Rose, a photo exhibition by Mathieu Forget, and a music lineup curated by Rinse. The weekend also features three workshops open to the public, including one led by France’s first "soberlier", Benoît d’Onofrio, who will reimagine food and drink pairings with elegance — and without a single drop of alcohol.

Where to shop: At Hercule Store
Since 2017, Hercule Studio has moved forward with a clear vision: to offer gentle, fluid fashion rooted in today’s realities. Founded by Raphaël Germain, the label blends heritages and multiple identities to shape a wardrobe where genders meet without constraint. With Sans Soleil, unveiled in January 2023, Hercule offered a sensitive look at Afro-Caribbean roots, with wrap mini-skirts, airy bustiers, and vibrant colors. But if one piece truly embodies their approach to practical and poetic style, it’s their hood. Reinterpreted season after season, adjustable and designed to handle both sun and rain, this accessory has become an essential. A discreet yet strong signature — just like the studio itself.

Where to party: At the reopening of Jardin des Traverses
Jardin des Traverses reopens its doors, and Effort Collectif returns with its summer program. Every month, the collective will take over the venue with a selection of events blending music, workshops, and moments of relaxation. First date to note: April 13, for an afternoon at Mimi Land. On the agenda: Ashtola’s love letter radio show, an ambient set by Bolitorride, a DJ set by Pulsatil.e, and performances by residents Jacky Jeane, Vanav, and Ju Pandoux. It’s free, it’s chill, and it starts at 3 p.m.
