Salomon has unveiled the new XT-EVO The sculptural evolution of the XT line between performance and contemporary design
Salomon has announced the expansion of the XT family with the arrival of the XT-EVO sneaker, a model that draws on the technical DNA of the iconic XT-6 and translates it into a bolder aesthetic language, inspired by movement, speed and exploration. Designed for those who aren't afraid to venture into the unknown, the new shoe transforms the brand's performance heritage into a truly sculptural expression of dynamism.
The silhouette remains anchored to the racing spirit that made the XT-6 a benchmark, retaining the line's distinctive technical platform. At the same time, the upper is completely reimagined: more pronounced proportions, visible layering and fluid lines that, from every angle, convey a sense of continuous movement. The result is an object that doesn't simply get worn, but seems almost in motion even when standing still.
The debut colorway, built around shades of red, black and grey, pays homage to one of the original color combinations of the XT-6, creating a visual bridge between the collection's past and future. The iconic jumbo mesh, a recognizable element of the XT line, remains front and center, while liquid rubber inserts developed specifically for this model add depth, texture and a three-dimensionality that further emphasizes the idea of speed and fluid motion.
From a technical standpoint, the XT-EVO continues to rely on the proven platform that has established the XT series as a benchmark for performance and comfort. Salomon's Agile Chassis™ system delivers stability, cushioning, durability and confident control on any type of terrain, reaffirming the model's all-terrain attitude.
To coincide with Milan Fashion Week, the brand has organized a series of activations and events dedicated to the model's debut, also involving key Milanese partners. On September 25th, the Salomon Store Brera at Corso Garibaldi 12 will be transformed into an immersive experience inspired by the campaign's visual universe, guiding visitors through the discovery of the XT-EVO. Special guest at the event will be Veronica Yoko Plebani, a Paralympic athlete, speaker and content creator who has long been committed to promoting movement as a tool for discovery, freedom and inclusion.
