Salomon Now Dresses the Paris Opera Dancers The outdoor brand takes the stage at the famous cultural institution
The Paris National Opera announced this Wednesday, June 10, an unprecedented collaboration with Salomon. For three seasons, the outdoor sports brand will serve as the official outfitter of the famous ballet company. A total of 154 dancers will be dressed by the French brand, from warm-ups and intensive training sessions to their official travel. This collaboration gets straight to the heart of the daily practice and routine of these high-level athletes.
Effort and Performance Behind the Scenes
Behind the grace of every performance lies relentless hard work backstage. This is precisely where Salomon has chosen to step in, bringing its technical expertise to support the dancers through the physical demands of their craft.
For the French Alps-based brand, historically rooted in trail running and skiing, the stage of the Paris Opera represents an entirely new arena and an ideal opportunity to extend its influence far beyond the mountain peaks.
"The Paris National Opera Ballet embodies a rare form of performance: demanding, precise, silent, built on repetition and daily commitment. At Salomon, we recognize this very same culture of effort in our athletes. This partnership is a natural meeting of two worlds bound by movement, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence," says Guillaume Meyzenq, CEO of Salomon.
A New Discipline, the Same Rigor
While the terrain may change, the mindset remains identical. Through this partnership, Salomon reaffirms its mission: to support the movement of those who constantly push their limits and set ambitious goals, whether that means climbing mountains or defying gravity on stage.
While the brand's work for the Opera is currently focused behind the scenes, it could very well develop this new product range further—a line that is not yet available on its website.
