Frank Ocean will be one of the headliners at the Coachella 2023

The most diverse edition ever?

Frank Ocean will be one of the headliners at the Coachella 2023 The most diverse edition ever?

Last night, the lineup for Coachella 2023 was announced, the most popular music festival will take place over two separate weekends, the first from 14 to 16 April and the second from 21 to 23 April. The announcement of the three headliners added to the hype surrounding the event: Bad Bunny, the first Latino artist to hold that title at Coachella; Blackpink, the world's first K-pop band; and, to everyone's surprise, Frank Ocean. The Long Beach artist - whose appearance was already scheduled for the 2020 edition, which was skipped due to the pandemic - has already been absent from the music scene since 2016, the year he released the much-acclaimed Blonde, his last major work, considered one of the cornerstones of 2010s music.

Although the singer is known for his long breaks from the music industry and the public eye, he released songs like In My Room and DHL in 2019 and Dear April and Cayendo in 2020. In October, he also released his latest project, Homer Radio, a new Apple Music 1 show. Fans are of course hoping that 2023 will be the year Frank Ocean releases his third album. The announcement of the headliners came along with Coachella's usual release of the full festival schedule, which also features other Latin stars such as Becky G, Rosalía, Keli Uchis, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, ¿Téo?, Dennis Cruz and Asian artists such as Ali Sethi, Diljit Dosanjh, Jai Paul, Jai Wolf, and Joy Crook. They will be joined by Kaytranada, Burna Boy, Tobe Nwigwe, Yves Tumour, Metro Boomin, Pusha T, Latto, Noname, Willow, Flo Milli, A Boogie, GloRilla and Rae Sremmurd, among others, in what promises to be the most diverse edition of the American festival yet.
