Here's how the launch event of "Paris Noir" went «The French dream through the eyes of nss»
On June 27, Etienne Russo exceptionally opened the doors of his private residence to present Paris Noir, the third and final issue of nss france dedicated to the French capital. This limited edition concludes an editorial journey that began three years ago with the aim of telling «The French dream through the eyes of nss». Following Ti Amo Paris and Paris Future, Paris Noir represents the final chapter of the trilogy, offering a darker and more contemporary perspective on the city. The magazine portrays Paris in its most authentic reality, without avoiding its grey areas or resorting to censorship, bringing high and low culture into dialogue, alongside well known stories and untold narratives, to deliver a faithful portrait of the city of Paris, long dreamed of by many, yet where not everyone has chosen to stay.
For this third issue, Etienne Russo, founder of the production house Villa Eugénie, which has been producing events and runway shows for some of the world's leading fashion houses, including Schiaparelli, Moncler and Hermès, for more than thirty years, shared his universe from a completely new perspective, exclusively for nss. Among the issue's protagonists is Michèle Lamy, who is featured in the cover story, alongside emerging names from the Parisian creative scene such as Matières Fécales, the figures who have shaped the soundtracks of fashion, including Frédéric Sanchez and Michel Gaubert, as well as creatives Julien Klausner, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt and Ellen Hodakova, whose relationship with a Paris experienced in its most tense moments is explored.
The issue also features stories on Marc Dorcel, described as the man who revolutionised the pornography of an era, Connor Lawrence Hickey and Spencer Tunick, whose nude photography reveals an unseen side of the city. Through these stories, Paris Noir builds a dialogue between figures who have helped shape Paris' cultural imagination and a new generation of creatives redefining its boundaries, with the aim of rebuilding the connection between fashion and reality, a relationship that has always found its truest source of inspiration in the city's streets.
