Moncler launches ‘ Have a puffy summer’ with Jamie Dornan When softness transforms into freshness

With «have a puffy summer», Moncler is not just launching a slogan, but a true statement of intent. For Summer 2026, the brand has decided to completely rewrite the rules of seasonal dressing by revisiting its most iconic DNA, softness, into something unexpectedly light, fluid, and unmistakably summery. The result is a collection that vibrates between functionality and creativity, taking outerwear out of its winter comfort zone to embrace bright days, smart layering, and an aesthetic that does not go unnoticed.
The new Moncler collection moves within an in-between space - that of the transitional seasons that now dominate the contemporary wardrobe. Here, the puffer jacket becomes lighter, deconstructed, and infused with vibrant colors. It doesn’t lose its identity, but evolves into a modular system of lightweight, sculptural, and highly versatile layers. It’s the concept of “puffy” taken to a whole new level, while maintaining the same comfort and stylistic research that have always been part of Moncler’s DNA.
Bringing this vision to life is Jamie Dornan, the face of the new campaign, who plays with a relaxed and ironic image while immersing himself in a visual universe populated by inflatable sea creatures. An octopus, whale, lobster, and seahorse seem to come straight out of a surrealist dream, perfectly coordinated with the looks from the collection. The result is an aesthetic that blends fashion and play, with an almost pop twist. Behind this imaginary world is set designer Andy Hillman, who creates a series of artistic installations made up of deliberately “puffy” creatures that become a visual metaphor for the collection’s concept.
The Moncler Summer 2026 collection moves along two distinct yet complementary directions. For womenswear, the palette is fresh and delicate, featuring pastel pink, orange, forest green, and clean neutrals as the backdrop for reimagined classic motifs such as stripes, gingham, and tropical florals. Mid-layers introduce ultra-lightweight nylon and floral-quilted jackets, while the base remains effortless, with striped polos, checked playsuits, and breezy dresses.
For menswear, the mood is casual yet refined. Colors become more vibrant with scarlet red, sunshine yellow, sky blue, and burgundy, balanced by essential neutrals. Materials are ultra-lightweight, ranging from airy nylon to denim and crisp poplin, while key pieces include light down gilets, windbreakers, and field jackets. Layering becomes a strategic game: shorts, relaxed trousers, bowling shirts, and graphic tees mix freely, completed by bucket hats and beanies that add character to each look.
Puffy Summer goes beyond the collection and becomes a global experience: during Milan Design Week, Moncler transforms 10 Corso Como with a giant octopus climbing its façade into an immersive installation that gives a new identity to the Milan store. From there, the concept travels from Seoul to Chengdu, passing through Hong Kong, Paris, London, and Miami. The message behind this new campaign is clear: summer according to Moncler is not minimal or predictable, but soft, colorful, and full of energy.
