The streets are buzzing with activities, perfect for taking a break from the Christmas frenzy of holiday celebrations. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.

Where to Eat: Chez Orson

Located on Rue du Dragon, Orson marks a new chapter in the journey of chef Esu Lee, already noted in Paris with JIP. Here, he presents a bistronomic table guided by memories of Korean meals, where fire plays a central role. The intimate and carefully designed dining room revolves around an impressive custom grill, the unique cooking tool, designed to control smoke and intensity. The menu unfolds in four courses, about fifteen plates, some for sharing, featuring reimagined banchan, seafood, grilled meats, and flame-treated vegetables. The result is precise yet generous cuisine, both personal and approachable, striking the right balance between Parisian rigor and Korean warmth. A recent hotspot already attracting attention, reservations recommended.

To Discover: D’un Seul Souffle at the Grand Palais

With D’un seul souffle, Claire Tabouret unveils the behind-the-scenes of an extraordinary project: the creation of the future contemporary stained glass for Notre-Dame de Paris. Winner of the public commission launched at the end of 2024, the artist exhibits life-size models, sketches, and monotypes at Galerie 10.2, created in collaboration with the Simon-Marq workshop. Presented as a workshop in motion, the exhibition allows visitors to dive into the meticulous process of a work still in progress, designed to interact with the cathedral’s white light. It is also refreshing to see an exclusively female-led project at this scale: Claire Tabouret, Eva Jospin, and the artisans behind the scenes occupy the space with precision, without overplaying it.

Where to Have Fun: At the Trincamp Solidarity Collection

This Saturday, Trincamp hosts a solidarity lottery in collaboration with Florian Waldmann and Utopia 56. The concept is simple: you donate warm, functional, and good-condition clothes, and receive a lottery ticket. No tickets are sold, only donations. The clothes will then be redistributed by Utopia 56 to people living on the streets, in a context of urgent need. Prizes include prints from the photographer to be won during the draw at 6:30 PM. The collection runs from 11 AM to 6 PM at 130 Rue Oberkampf. A small gesture, a big help.
