In the blink of an eye, the week is coming to an end, and the weekend is already appearing on the horizon. It’s time to take out your finest overcoats and brave the winter cold by stepping out of your cocoon. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to suit every taste. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.

Where to eat: At Cave Canaille with Anna Zaat

After sharpening her knives at La Relève as brand project manager, Anna Zaat steps into the kitchen and presents this Sunday her very first pop-up, in a place she holds dear: Cave Canaille. For the occasion, the natural wine bar in the 11th arrondissement will exceptionally open its doors at noon. On the menu: a handful of homemade sandwiches, conceived as little bundles of indulgence—quality bread, carefully sourced ingredients, precise seasoning—with a vegetarian option among them. Limited quantities, relaxed format, a friendly gathering spirit. All to be paired with a glass carefully selected by Antony Robine from the cellar’s offering. A debut appearance that we imagine will reflect her cooking: generous, intuitive, and fuss-free. And a word of advice: if you plan to go, it’s best to arrive early.

To discover: Daughters by Systemarosa

After several months of preparation, the exhibition Daughters has finally arrived in Paris. Conceived as a tribute to all those who grew up with football without ever truly finding their place in it, it brings together a selection of contemporary female artists exploring the links between sport, femininity, and collective memory. Alina Akbar, Nicole Chui, Clara Borde de Castro, Emmely Elgersma, and Ruth Emma Davis are among the voices gathered for this participatory installation where textile art, video, photography and personal narrative intersect. Through them, it is the Sunday players and lifelong fans who take the floor in a dialogue between football and girlhood. The exhibition will run from December 4 to 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where to have fun: At the Arab World Institute Festival

Since December 2, the Arab World Institute has been reinvesting all its spaces with a new edition of IMA fait son festival, running until December 14. Concerts, dance, storytelling, club nights, and photo exhibitions: the programme explores Arab cultures in all their forms, blending transmission, creation, and festive moments. On the agenda: mahraganat from Cairo, Palestinian dabkeh to dance in workshops or on stage, an electro night curated by Musique de Fête, and a series of performances. A highlight of the festival: the tribute exhibition to Palestinian photojournalist Fatma Hassona, who passed away in Gaza last April, with her images on view from December 9 to 14. Meanwhile, the film *Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk*, co-directed with Sepideh Farsi, will be screened on December 9 in the presence of the director.
