5 things to do in Milan this weekend From December 5 to 7

Even though we find ourselves on the verge of a long weekend, meaning Milan is about to empty quickly, the city still offers a schedule of events and pop-ups not to be underestimated. Of course, in the month of December, hopping on a train to get closer to your loved one - as well as to good weather and clean air – is a temptation that admits no resistance, but sometimes even 24 hours of free time in Milan can fill the soul. As always, nss’ weekly guide is here to fill your days.

Here, then, are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend, from December 5 to 7 – or 8.

To Eat - Suqsu

Suqsu is a new spot dedicated to cous cous serving dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to a flavorful menu, it’s possible to customize your plate, from the choice of semolina to toppings and vegetables, to be enjoyed along with a selection of teas and meze. As shown by their latest event, Suqsu is also a cultural space: on Thursday evening it hosted a special rendezvous featuring music from several emerging artists to celebrate Mediterranean energy.

To Chill - Venticinque @ Cadogan Gallery

Cadogan Gallery presents Venticinque, the first exhibition in Italy by artist Gabriele Cappelli. Until January 31, the gallery will host a series of new paintings inspired by emblematic creations and significant themes explored throughout Cappelli’s career, who in 1997, at twenty-five years old, moved to London to devote himself entirely to his artistic vocation. Inspired by the Young British Artists movement, Cappelli is interested in painting as a study of chromatic composition, a research that the artist carries out through the use of waxes, powders, and oil colors.

To Shop - Foot Locker The Bench Drop

On Friday, December 5, starting at 1 PM, Foot Locker presents The Bench Drop at the Edicolina in Piazza Santo Stefano. Content creators Andrea Fratino and Valentina Vernia will animate the day together with a DJ set curated by DJ Ivy and Millions. While enjoying a hot chocolate, visitors will be able to access a digital environment inspired by the bench, create their own avatar, and explore the Foot Locker space in virtual reality as well.
