Simone Rocha, the Irish designer based in London, known for an aesthetic that blends romanticism, femininity and experimentation, and adidas Originals are gearing up for a new chapter together. Today, September 10th, they launch their new collaboration at Dover Street Market Paris, in the Marais district. Revealed to the public for the first time during Simone Rocha's FW26 show at London Fashion Week, the collaboration was celebrated with a special installation in the L Space at Dover Street Market.
The project merges two distinct identities: the sporting attitude and iconic silhouettes of adidas Originals and the romantic, artisanal world of Simone Rocha. The brand's signature shapes are reinterpreted through new proportions, constructions and ornamental details, striking a balance between function and decoration, utility and romanticism. The result is a more expressive take on sportswear, in which sporting codes are reimagined through the London-based designer's romantic and experimental sensibility.
