The Neo-Vintage Wardrobe of A.PRESSE

June 23–28 / Launch party on June 23 (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM) / Free admission

The young Japanese brand A.PRESSE, founded in 2021 by designer Kazuma Shigematsu, is setting up shop in the heart of Dover Street Market Paris for an exceptional pop-up. Rising fast on the international scene, the label dissects vintage menswear and workwear icons only to sublimate them. Here, utilitarian aesthetics merge with sharp tailoring, while heritage-inspired cuts are elevated by noble materials like silk.

To mark the occasion, A.PRESSE is releasing an exclusive capsule of shirts and trousers, alongside a collector's keychain. The opening night will be set to music, driven by the energy and cutting-edge beats of the High Hopes collective. A mandatory rendez-vous for menswear enthusiasts.

The Publishing Phenomenon: « WOLVES » by Winter Vandenbrink

Signing and launch on June 24 (from 6:00 PM) / Free admission

The prestigious publishing house IDEA pushes the boundaries of art books once again with « WOLVES », the third collaboration with Paris-based Dutch photographer Winter Vandenbrink, following the successes of « VANDALS » and « TOBY ». Boasting an impressive format (33 x 24 cm), the book features art direction by graphic design legend Linda van Deursen. Its production is so complex that an Italian printer deemed it ‘impossibile’: it features a mix of different paper stocks, untrimmed sections sewn in by hand, and a book block glued directly into a folded poster.

Content-wise, Vandenbrink captures the raw beauty and pack mentality of teenage groups, observing them as "wolf packs" roaming the pavement of Paris, Venice, Amsterdam, or Milan. Far from his meticulous commercial work, « WOLVES » offers 164 pages of beautifully documented, candid in-between moments, enriched by Eliot Haworth’s essay « Field Notes ».

A true milestone in fashion history will unfold during an intimate conversation between legendary designer Walter Van Beirendonck and prestigious fashion scout Sara Sozzani Maino. Taking the landmark exhibition dedicated to the Antwerp Six at MoMu (Fashion Museum Antwerp) as a starting point, the duo will analyze the aesthetic and political legacy of the collective that shook up 1980s fashion, while addressing the challenges and opportunities facing emerging talent in today's globalized landscape.

The exchange will also celebrate the release of « The Antwerp Six », the official exhibition catalogue published by Hannibal Books. Spanning over 400 pages, the book combines expert essays and unseen archival imagery, instantly establishing itself as the definitive reference on one of contemporary culture's most influential movements.

No passive spectators here; the audience will actively participate in the piece, reading accounts and citations aloud via a shared script synchronized on their own smartphones. The performance will continue at Rose Bakery with an exclusive signing of the book (published in 2025) over cocktails.
