Where to eat: At Chez Lissit to celebrate its first anniversary

One year after setting their pots and pans in this corner of the 11th district, Alexis Lissitzky and Claire Grumellon are celebrating their first year of collaboration. The place, once known as Kokotte, has changed its appearance without losing its essence: a lively dining bar, where you can come as much for a drink as for a good meal. From her open kitchenette, the chef prepares traditional dishes with confidence: stuffed poultry, pâtés en croûte, terrines... A technical yet unpretentious cuisine driven by the pleasure of well-executed craft. To mark the anniversary, a gathering is set for Saturday, November 22 from 6 p.m.: homemade sauerkraut-sausage sandwiches, a Beaujolais nouveau by Jean-Claude Lapalu, a creamy cake, and a house raffle will punctuate the evening.

To discover: Farida Khelfa’s iconic wardrobe

If your wallet can allow it, now is the time to get your hands on a piece of fashion history. From November 20 to December 11 2025, Farida Khelfa is putting up for sale part of her personal wardrobe, composed of nearly 200 pieces worn throughout her career. Alaïa dresses, Gaultier ensembles, Schiaparelli accessories: each item tells a fragment of her trajectory, from 1980s muse to an indispensable figure of the cultural scene. A large portion of the selection pays tribute to Azzedine Alaïa, with whom she was a close collaborator, between couture salons and now-iconic campaigns. At the same time, part of the proceeds will be donated to the RIACE fund, dedicated to inclusion and support for vulnerable individuals.

Where to have fun: At the Chéries-Chéris Festival

On the occasion of LGBTQIA+ History Month, the Chéries-Chéris festival returns for its 31st edition, spread across MK2 Bibliothèque, Quai de Seine and Beaubourg. This year’s lineup includes: 75 feature films, 76 shorts, and a program designed to embrace the plurality of queer narratives, from auteur cinema to intimate documentaries and experimental fiction. Far from restricting itself to a niche audience, the event aims to be unifying and intergenerational, with particular attention given to youth, openness, and the way images can reveal new possibilities. The opening featured Pillion, an SM comedy between bikers, and the closing will be with Julian, a romantic drama adapted from the novel by Fleur Pierets. Also not to be missed: *Le son des souvenirs*, a romance between Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal set against the backdrop of World War I. A selection that crosses eras and aesthetics, with one guiding thread: showcasing the richness of LGBTQIA+ narratives.

Where to shop: At the Welter Shelter pop-up

For the second consecutive year, the outerwear brand from Amsterdam has taken over 20 Rue Saint-Gilles with a pop-up store open until December 1st. The opening, last night, came with great fanfare and continued late into the night at Mishmish. Founded by Peter Landa, Welter Shelter offers pieces designed to last, both technical, waterproof and breathable, without ever compromising on fit or materials. Designed for city dwellers exposed to the elements, the brand combines a minimalist aesthetic with functional requirements. On the racks you will find coats with clean lines, quilted jackets, and a sober palette that speaks as much to urban wanderers as to seasoned travelers. The price range remains accessible, particularly for pieces made to endure and accompany several winters without flinching. Enough to check a few boxes on your Christmas gift list!
