5 things to do this weekend in Paris From November 7th to 9th

In the blink of an eye, the week comes to an end, and the weekend is already on the horizon. It’s time to bring out your finest coats and face the autumn chill as you venture out of your cocoon. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to satisfy every taste. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.

1. To eat: At Chop Chop with Juan Pablo Rojas Pineda

To escape Parisian greyness, why not treat yourself to a round trip to Colombia? Until Sunday, November 9, Juan Pablo Rojas Pineda is taking up residence at Chop Chop, bringing with him a lively, intuitive cuisine inspired by family memories and Colombian influences. On the plates, burnt rice with hogao, confit egg yolk, smoked butter, and fresh herbs pays tribute to his mother, while achiote-braised chicken converses with Jerusalem artichoke cream, spinach, and clementine segments. Grilled little gem lettuce is dressed with satay sauce, pickles, and a peanut, chili, and shrimp crumble. The atmosphere, enhanced by a natural wine selection curated by Mehdi Aissoub and a well-chosen soundtrack, carries the evening service to its highlight: a Sunday brunch in collaboration with Colombian coffee shop Los Andes. Conceived as a return home, it features arepas, calentao’, and filtered coffee in a generous, family-style format, to be enjoyed between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

2. To see: “Sur Le Trottoir Les Fashions” at Point Éphémère

It’s surely a phrase that has now become part of our everyday vocabulary: “Sur le trottoir les fashions.” Between assumed disdain and fascination, it perfectly captures the parallel theater of Fashion Week. As part of the Rencontres Photographiques of the 10th arrondissement, photographer Sonia Reveyaz uses it as the title of her new exhibition at Point Éphémère. Shot outside runway shows, her images document the buzz around the entrances, where familiar faces, up-and-coming models, and stylish unknowns mingle under camera flashes. A dense series built around details, textures, and postures, telling what the street reveals about fashion. The opening, held on Wednesday, November 5, featured a runway show curated by stylist @_frusques, complete with DJ set and photocall. The exhibition runs until November 23, 2025.

3. To have fun: At the Pitchfork Music Festival

If you still haven’t gotten over missing Saint Devonté Hynes, aka Blood Orange, at the Olympia this Monday, here’s your chance to make up for it. The artist is among the headliners of the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, running until November 9 for its 14th edition. Spread over an entire week and eleven Parisian venues, the event brings together a sharp selection of artists at the crossroads of indie, electronic, and experimental pop. Alongside him this year: A. G. Cook, Erika de Casier, Indigo De Souza, Panda Bear, and Self Esteem. And for those in search of new musical obsessions, the Pitchfork Avant-Garde program offers an open-access circuit across six venues in the Bastille district, featuring 17 artists to discover each night from Thursday to Saturday.

4. To shop: With Avgvst Berlin and Crosby Studio

Presented as a natural extension of their collaboration initiated in Berlin, the collection by Avgvst and Crosby Studios sits at the crossroads between jewelry and art object. Conceived by Natalia Bryantseva and Harry Nuriev, it continues the designer’s beloved concept of “transformism”: repurposing familiar everyday shapes to give them a second life. Comb, flip phone, cassette tape, or microphone become polished silver pendants to wear alone or layered. The series, titled Rock’N’Droll, revisits the early 2000s aesthetic with subtle irony. Each piece allows playful combinations — hoops, flat chains, and flexible rings — in a modular approach true to the studio’s style. The collection is now available at the Avgvst store in Berlin-Mitte and online.
