5 things to do in Paris this weekend From October 3 to 5
The kickoff of Fashion Week has begun, and the city is buzzing with fashion professionals and high-profile guests. Sidewalks and terraces are packed with fashionistas, couriers are overwhelmed, and lucky are those who manage to get an Uber during peak hours. However, this endless week is finally coming to an end, and the weekend is on the horizon. It's time to venture out of your cocoon as the streets buzz with activities to suit all tastes. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.
Where to Eat: At Marché Noir with Cheynese Kachame
Halfway between an intimate dining table and an editorial installation, “GERMINAL Studio” sets up at Marché Noir for Fashion Week. The project revolves around a six-course tasting menu designed by Cheynese Khachame and Alexandre Loffroy. Self-taught chef Khachame has been developing a 100% plant-based cuisine for several years, mainly shared via social media. The experience, conceived as a meeting point between gastronomy, fashion, and culture, runs until October 5th.

To Discover: Ice Magazine Volume 2 at Dover Street Market
On Sunday, October 5th, from 3 to 5 PM, Dover Street Market Paris hosts the launch of the second issue of ICE Magazine, an editorial project led by Dominican-American photographer Renell Medrano. Titled The Atlanta Issue, this new volume is inspired by the women of Atlanta, where the artist created a series of portraits exploring how Black women are represented. She explores a form of sensuality freed from usual codes, far from outside gazes that often confine or project. The publication, conceived as a visual object in its own right, continues a committed, intimate work rooted in American urban culture. Featured in this issue is rapper Eve.

Where to Have Fun: Centerpiece Open Doors
This weekend, Centerpiece opens its doors by reservation only via DM. Set in a family apartment in the 9th arrondissement, the space blurs the lines between gallery, showroom, and lived-in home. Visitors can move freely, flip through archive magazines, try designer pieces selected by the team behind the project, possibly leave with an artwork or piece of furniture, and taste what resident chef Sita Laure has prepared that day. Born from the need to slow down and feel, Centerpiece offers a different way of being together. Here, intimacy becomes collective, and the ordinary turns into exchange. You don’t visit Centerpiece—you take part in it.
Where to Shop: Catheclisma Pop-Up
Based in Milan, the brand Catheclisma develops a sustainable approach to fashion, working only with exceptional materials. During Fashion Week, it returns to Paris with a presentation of its Fall-Winter 2025 collection, available until October 5th at 29 Rue Charlot. The capsule gathers pieces designed to last through seasons: butterfly-cut pants, faux fur t-shirts, jersey dresses, and a selection of winter essentials. A sober, functional proposal marked by the unique twist of its founder Caterina Grieco.

Where to Party: Grand Palais with Virgil Abloh Archive
This Saturday, from 3 to 8 PM, the Grand Palais pays musical tribute to the late Virgil Abloh. DJs include Fiona Zanetti, Brodinski, Greg, Daquisiline Gomis, and Skepta. The program is conceived as a living extension of his universe, blending fashion, music, and culture. Nearby, Virgil Abloh: The Codes is open until October 10th. Conceived by Virgil Abloh Archive™ in partnership with Nike, the exhibition features over 20,000 items from his archives: sketches, prototypes, objects, images, fragments of thought. Designed by Chloé and Mahfuz Sultan, the retrospective explores the “codes” the designer planted across disciplines. Performances, workshops, and screenings complete the experience. An invitation to immerse in the legacy of a creator who constantly broke boundaries between worlds.
