In the blink of an eye, the week is coming to an end, and the weekend is already on the horizon. Where to eat: At La Joie Restaurant
Opened just a few months ago, this new spot is already making waves. Behind the project are Florent Ciccoli, experienced in multi-handled restaurants (Café du Coin, Jones, etc.), and Minod Dilakshan, a Sri Lankan-born chef who worked at Café du Coin. Together, they have invested in a former butcher shop in the 11th arrondissement, between tiled walls and medium furniture, offering a short and spicy menu. The beverage selection ranges from natural wine to rice beer brewed in collaboration with Bières de Belleville, as well as kombucha infused with fig leaves.

To discover: The A-Size Exhibition at Galerie 78 Temple
Inaugurated yesterday as part of Paris Design Week, the A-SIZE exhibition brings together about twenty designers, artists, and studios around a single challenge: designing a seat using production scraps. Presented at 78 rue du Temple, the exhibition explores the formal and technical possibilities of materials already used, often considered waste. Among the participants, profiles from design, art, or architecture, such as iso9001, At Paris, Clabesnard, Zyva studio and Antoine Besse, each offer their personal take on this constraint. The result is a series of functional or conceptual objects, between prototypes and experiments.

Where to have fun: At Transplantation Projects Block Party
Five years of commitment deserve a celebration! This Saturday, September 13, Transplantation is hosting a block party on Rue Francis Ponge, in the 19th arrondissement. The event marks five years of collective cultural projects and celebrates the project's roots in the Danube neighborhood, where the team has been based for a year. Throughout the day, participatory workshops, open mic, barbershop, and a buffet will follow, alongside artists involved since the beginning as well as new participants encountered along the way. The atmosphere is intended to be family-friendly, open, with music, shared moments, and activities for the youngest. Founded in 2020 by Amandine Nana, Transplantation brings together a gallery, a library, and an artistic research space. The collective, composed of young people from diverse backgrounds, carries out actions to make culture more accessible and create shared spaces in the city. The block party fits perfectly into this dynamic: making public space a place of creation, meeting, and expression.

Where to shop: At Hélas and Kappa pop-up
This Friday, Kappa and Hélas open the doors to their pop-up at 139 rue du Temple. On the agenda: a capsule collection revisiting the 90s era of Italian football, with zipped tracksuits, round-collared jerseys, and embroidered accessories. Kappa’s visual signature, the “Banda,” is reinterpreted for the occasion with a new logo, merging the identities of the two labels. The tracksuit draws inspiration from match-day outfits of the time, with careful attention to materials and finishes. Overall, this collaboration is designed for those who grew up with Sunday couch days and skate afternoons. Available in-store from the 12th and online from the 13th, the capsule will also be distributed through about fifty retailers worldwide.
