Gucci goes to Westminster Abbey

Some time ago we told you about the growing power of the Cruise Collections, their spectacular locations and their commercial value. After having chosen London as the background for its Cruise 2017 show, Gucci confirmed today the presentation will take place inside the iconic Westminster Abbey, in the heart of the British capital.
On June 2nd this year Alessandro Michele’s geek chic army will walk under the cloisters of the popular Gothic church, which will host an event of this kind for the first time.
Michele is now known for the election of unusual locations for his shows: the Cruise 2017 collection was presented at DIA-Art Foundation in Chelsea, New York, while in Milan the designer abandoned the historic venue of the brand in Piazza Oberdan preferring an old train station in via Valtellina.
