Enfants Riches Déprimés to open its first flagship store in New York After Paris and Seoul
Enfants Riches Déprimés lands in New York. In May 2026, the brand founded by Henri Alexander Levy will open its first American flagship in the Tribeca neighborhood, marking a new step in the gradual institutionalization of a project that began as a cult label and has, over time, become a globally distributed luxury brand.
After Paris and Seoul, New York becomes the brand’s western base. A far from incidental choice, given the city’s symbolic role within the international fashion and cultural system, as well as the type of audience Enfants Riches Déprimés has increasingly attracted in recent years. The new space, spanning approximately 550 square meters, will be the largest ever created by the brand and will serve as its central flagship in the United States.
Unlike previous retail locations, the New York store will be the first to bring together all facets of Enfants Riches Déprimés under one roof. Not only ready-to-wear and tailoring, but also couture, jewelry, furniture, and self-produced editorial materials, including vinyl records and independent printed matter. An approach that prioritizes building a coherent universe over maximizing product turnover, in line with a tightly controlled retail strategy.
As with the Paris and Seoul spaces, the Tribeca flagship will be conceived as a highly curated environment, closer to a permanent installation than a traditional store. An aesthetic that continues to oscillate between cultured references, staged nihilism, and a certain taste for the theatricalization of discomfort, now a recognizable signature of the brand.
