How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?

The current routine is to wake up at 8 am. Shower. Make coffee. Watch the news and then start shooting sneakers at my home studio set up. I have a beautiful pup with my girlfriend and we walk her throughout the day, so that helps with getting a little fresh air. I also go on our rooftop to reflect and look out into the city. Just recently I even made a trip to the beach with my girlfriend and pup—it was nice because there weren’t many people and it made for nice photos. Finally, I’ve been working on design projects and trying to hone in on my creative juices by creating more. My dreams are to come out of this not only stronger but with perspective and more of an appreciation on things that I’ve taken for granted (i.e. my daily commute listening to new music, seeing all the inspiring people and things in the city, friends, etc.). My fear is that when Covid-19 blows over, people affected by this the most won’t be able to recover, and we will lose valuable businesses and resources that have played important roles in my life.

What is your soundtrack?

Right now I’ve actually been listening to a lot of old vinyls in my late 1950’s Magnavox stereo system. Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, The Guess Who, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye...all the HITS!
