CUPRA returned to Primavera Sound Music, innovation and the first appearance of CUPRA Raval at CUPRA Pulse

From June 4 to 6, CUPRA returned to Primavera Sound Barcelona with CUPRA Pulse: on the festival’s waterfront, the installation offered twelve hours a day of open-air electronic music, a highly acclaimed line-up, unexpected performances and a special closing day: Skrillex, aka SONNY, was its star attraction, unveiling his exceptional line-up only shortly before the festival. Guests included The Avalanches, Brutalismus 3000, Hannah Diamond, Rustie and DJ Playero, as well as unconventional acts such as Mina Galán, deBasement and Debit.

The installation embodied the brand’s unconventional spirit, a space for visibility and experimentation where every sense merges together. Among the main highlights of the 2026 edition was the presence of CUPRA Raval, the brand’s new model, which made its debut at the festival. For the first time, the VIP rooftop area of CUPRA Pulse gave visitors the opportunity to discover the new vehicle. Guests also enjoyed special initiatives, including the customization of CUPRA garments together with designer Pepa Salazar.

CUPRA once again lent its name to one of the main stages at Primavera Sound Barcelona, which hosted artists such as Rusowsky, PinkPantheress,  Men I Trust, Amaarae, Choo and Oklou. In a context marked by uncertainty due to severe weather conditions, Oklou’s performance became a focal point for festival-goers, confirming the CUPRA Stage as one of the festival’s key venues and helping make the show one of the most significant moments of the artist’s career. The performance further strengthened CUPRA’s commitment to supporting innovative artists and new forms of contemporary musical expression, offering audiences authentic and memorable experiences even under the most unpredictable circumstances.

The stage also hosted the closing performances of the festival’s three days, entrusted to ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, KIKI and internationally renowned DJ Peggy Gou. Considered one of the most influential figures in the contemporary electronic music scene, the South Korean DJ and producer delivered the grand finale of the stage’s programme, serving as a benchmark for contemporary electronic culture thanks to her ability to blend house, techno and dance sounds into a style that is instantly recognisable.

CUPRA further strengthened its ties with the international music scene through an additional event in the city: Nathy Peluso’s free concert at CASA CUPRA. The artist performed on June 5 as part of Club Grasa, the music format she created and curates. Organised to celebrate the sixth anniversary of CUPRA’s cultural hub in central Barcelona, the event sold out and became one of the most anticipated side events of the festival week. The collaboration also extended to Radio Primavera Sound Barcelona, which broadcast exclusive content, interviews and in-depth coverage directly from the festival.

To further expand the event’s reach, CUPRA renewed its partnership with Amazon Music. Festival performances were streamed live every day on Prime Video, the Amazon Music app and Amazon Music’s official Twitch channel, with approximately eight hours of daily programming from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The broadcast included live concerts, artist interviews and exclusive backstage content, allowing fans to experience the festival from anywhere.

The partnership between CUPRA and Primavera Sound brought together music, design and innovation. Through projects such as CUPRA Pulse, the brand aims to engage a new generation of enthusiasts by offering experiences capable of creating authentic connections between people, creativity and technology.
