“ATARASHI GOES TO SICILY” represents the next and most ambitious chapter in the evolution of ATARASHI, an international electronic music brand and a cultural platform founded in 2021 which, for the first time, arrives in Southern Italy with an open-air event set in one of the most iconic and symbolic locations of the Mediterranean: the Capo Peloro Arena in Messina, overlooking the Strait of Messina. A new stage where land, sea and cultures coexist.
The project is designed to welcome people from all across Europe, for a full-day sensory experience that merges music and nature in a setting with a strong visual impact. The line-up will feature two of the world’s most important headliner DJs, Marco Carola and Seth Troxler, alongside a curated selection of local artists. In this context, ATARASHI GOES TO SICILY is not just an event, but a true destination experience: a cultural appointment that connects Sicily to the European electronic music circuit, attracting an international audience and positioning Messina as a new reference point on the global clubbing map.
Since its inception, ATARASHI has built a strong and recognizable identity on an international scale, producing and co-producing over 60 events across more than 8 countries and 20 cities. The project has collaborated with world-class venues and internationally renowned artists, quickly establishing itself as a key reference point in the contemporary electronic music scene. From Paris to Milan, from Chicago to New York, the festival has brought together thousands of people around a shared passion for electronic music, delivering curated line-ups, high-level production and iconic locations and now arrives in Sicily with its cultural revolution.
