God Save The Teens: Alex Stoddard - Project 365 Into The Nature

Looking at his pictures you would say he is a weirdo in the forest. Alex Stoddard, a young photographer originally from Fortson (Georgia)  surprised the art world with his photographs. At the sole age of eighteen years old he has become known thanks to his photographic self-portraits published on Flickr during his project 365. For those who do not know this project, here  a brief explanation:

What is "project 365"? The most traditional form of project 365 includes especially  photographic self-portraits. The "rules" to follow are these:

-Every day you take a photo of yourself,

-No restrictions about how to create the image (you can use any camera, any setting, etc. ...)

-Photos must all be different from each other,

Every-day share your photos in any way (Flickr, Facebook, your blog, etc ...),

-Proceed for 365 days.

Before starting this project at the age of 17 years old, Alex had only taken a few photos here and then. He says he learned the technique of photography doing a photo a day. Many photographers are intend to start their career with this project, but there are only few who manage to carry it out. Alex says about himself, that he never really finished anything in his life because of his laziness. With this project he wanted to show himself to be able to finish something. And he succeeded. He says that this project made him grown up and put him in tune with his emotions. Day after day, for an entire year, with each photo alex increased his creativity showing himself with the help of landscapes, forests and waters. Alex has always been very good at school and was convinced that one day he would law or medicine. The project 365 and the attention he got thanks to his talent changed his life. Now he wants to be a photographer! In fact he continued to take beautiful photographs, no longer self-portraits, but of friends, and people. We can be sure that this is not the last time we hear from this young talented photographer.
