Will Travis Scott really do a live show in Pompeii? After the Pyramids in Egypt, Scott has his eye on the excavations of Pompeii

After much anticipation, the day has finally come for Utopia, Travis Scott's new album released at midnight yesterday on all streaming platforms. In the preceding days, the Houston rapper had announced a series of initiatives related to the promotion of the album: from the release of a film co-directed by Harmony Korine, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Gaspar Noé to a live performance in Egypt. It was precisely the live between the Pyramids that was at the center of a media case after the Egyptian Music Professions Syndicate had postponed the concert until a later date, as confirmed by Scott himself yesterday on his Twitter channel. It wasn't long, however, before people started thinking about La Flame's next concert, who, through his official website, announced a mysterious live show in Pompeii, the same city where the rapper had been tipped off in the weeks leading up to the album's release.

Scouting for the right location or something else? According to some, the one in the city of Campania might not be a real live show open to the public, but a video already recorded in the previous days and ready to be released soon to push the album release even more. A theory that also finds confirmation in the communication choice made by Travis Scott, who announced the date in the section of the site renamed "Utopia World," along with the film Circus Maximus and the fanzine dedicated to the record. While waiting to find out the truth about the live show, Travis Scott surely has other things on his mind. In recent days La Flame had been spotted wearing a mysterious shirt that seemed to anticipate a collaboration with Givenchy, later also confirmed by the brand's creative director Matthew M. Williams.

What is certain, however, is that Scott will make his film debut at the upcoming Venice Film Festival with Aggro Dr1ft, the film directed by Harmony Korine that will be presented out of competition during the Venetian kermesse. In short, after the long hiatus due to the Astroworld Tour tragedy, Scott seems to be back on the scene in full form.
