Moncler Presents "CityTrek" The brand reimagines vintage trail shoes with technical materials and refined details
Moncler introduces CityTrek, the new sneaker that takes the shape of vintage trail shoes and adapts it to city life. With a design of effortless elegance conceived to be comfortable and versatile for everyday wear, the shoe draws on the expertise the brand has built in the world of outdoor and puts it to work in an urban context.
Every element of the model serves a precise purpose and reflects a keen attention to detail. The upper alternates side panels in nylon with suede details, featuring a breathable Cordura toe cap. The smooth leather heel counter wraps around the ankle for a secure fit, while the soft, cushioned midsole is paired with a Vibram rubber outsole that echoes the waffle pattern of vintage soles, delivering comfort and stability throughout the day.
The palette stays within stone tones, and the CityTrek is enhanced by the quality of its materials and high technical performance. The design is completed by a number of recognisable brand signatures: inside the elasticated tongue, Monduck appears, indicating the size with a touch of wit. The heel features the tricolour flag, and an embroidered M runs along the sides.
