Here’s what went down at Levi's pop up in Milan Summer kicked off with workshops, DJ sets, and open-air cinema

From June 17 to 19, in Milan, Levi’s chose the rooftop of Mogo to communicate one thing only: summer has arrived.

With A Levi’s Summer, the brand relaunches shorts as the symbolic garment of the season: an invitation to experience an offline summer, made up of slow gestures and serenity. The 501 Original Short, the Baggy Dad Jort and the 478 Baggy Short are paired with shirts and tops to complete the look. On the Milanese rooftop, this intention becomes concrete: blue tiles and a poolside ladder, together with a photo area and a bar area, recreate the feeling of those summer afternoons when time slows down and being together becomes the most natural thing in the world again. From 6:00 p.m., Levi’s offers the opportunity to take part in customization workshops, where this same feeling becomes tangible. Thanks to embroidered patches with summer motifs, pins to be created with colorful beads and charms, and embroidery on denim done on the spot, each participant can make their garment unique. At the same time, the DJ set accompanies the evening before the perfect closing moment: at 9:00 p.m., an open-air cinema, whose rich program is absolutely consistent with the narrative carried forward by Levi’s on this occasion. Little Miss Sunshine- screened on June 17- Lost in Translation on June 18 and, to close, There’s Still Tomorrow, scheduled for June 19, all share a clear common theme. All these films are introspective journeys toward the rediscovery of oneself, to be enjoyed under the stars. The simplest way to feel good together, without screens and without haste.
