5 things to do in Milan this weekend From February 7 to 9

In Milan, the weekend is expected to be cloudy, but with the days getting longer, people are going out more and more willingly, whether for an aperitif in a chic spot or an engaging event. To help you choose among the many options, nss presents its weekly column: here are the 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Eat – Al Cortile

Al Cortile is just a few steps from the Navigli district, in old Milan. Inside a courtyard, as the name suggests, the location is intimate and cozy, a refuge away from the city's hustle and bustle where you can enjoy creative cuisine. In this minimalist furnished environment, you can savor a menu that offers traditional dishes with a touch of innovation, changing every month to follow the seasonality of ingredients.

To Chill – Kagurazaka Saryō Milano

The bistro and tea room brand Kagurazaka Saryo had its grand opening yesterday in Milan, in the Garibaldi area. This space blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern design, making the Japanese tea ritual, especially matcha, the main attraction. It can be accompanied by handmade desserts (such as the Hekira Mont Blanc with matcha) or dishes that enhance its refinement. However, the venue is also an excellent choice for a lunch break, offering a wide selection of ramen and udon.

Corso Como, 12

To Discover – Hoyningen-Huene

Until May 18, 2025, Palazzo Reale will host “George Hoyningen-Huene. Glamour and Avant-garde,” the first exhibition in Italy dedicated to this fashion photographer. The exhibition is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the aesthetics of the 1920s and 1930s through his famous shots for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and to admire his work within the glittering world of Hollywood’s star system.

Piazza Duomo, 12

To Shop – Mabash Temporary Shop

Friday the 7th is not to be missed if you find yourself near Corso di Porta Ticinese, as it marks the opening of the Mabash temporary shop. The artisan handbag brand Made in Italy offers various models, from baguette to hobo bags, which are worth trying in person. The Milanese pop-up store will remain open until March 2.

To Party – Le Cannibale

On Saturday the 8th, there will be an unmissable night of Le Cannibale featuring Danilo Plessow, aka Motor City Drum Ensemble, at Super Club. MCDM is known as one of the most influential artists in electronic music, and the night promises to be a journey through house, disco, soul, and jazz sounds. The Milanese DJ Larry Masmero will open the event. Tickets are available on Dice.
