5 Things to do in Milan this weekend From June 26 to 28

Summer heat has officially arrived in the city and, while until recently we couldn't wait for it, we're probably already starting to miss a bit of shade or even just a slight drop in temperature. Fortunately, this weekend looks set to bring some relief, with clouds expected to roll in and offer a brief break from the heat. As we all hope to recharge our batteries, nss magazine's weekly guide is back with a selection of events and places you shouldn't miss. If you haven't planned your weekend yet or you're staying in the city a little longer, we've got you covered.
Here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.
To Eat - Street Smash Burgers
Founded in Lisbon in 2024 by Beatriz Santillana and Carlos Antón Conde, Street Smash Burgers has quickly become one of Europe's fastest-growing smash burger brands. At the heart of the project is a simple yet uncompromising philosophy: serving a high-quality product. Every burger is prepared to order using carefully selected ingredients sourced from some of Europe's best suppliers, while the open kitchens play a central role in the experience, creating the perfect balance between food and lifestyle, in line with today's urban culture. This vision extends beyond the kitchen through events, activations and collaborations spanning fashion, design, sports and contemporary creativity, establishing Street as a project that goes beyond food while always keeping the product at the core of its identity.
Via Edmondo de Amicis, 9
To Chill - NIGHTMARKET
NIGHTMARKET, the Asian snack bar created by Kei Shu, has opened its doors on Via Giambellino, bringing the energy of Asian street food to Milan. An informal, straightforward project that is constantly evolving, it serves an evening-focused menu featuring bao, okonomiyaki, karaage, fried dumplings, skewers and much more. Dishes are designed to be enjoyed standing up, shared and ordered again. The food is paired with a selection of natural wines, draft and bottled cocktails, beers and soft drinks, in a drinks menu built around the same philosophy as the kitchen: simple, carefully curated and accessible.
Via Giambellino, 50
To Discover - TECNO PERIPATETICUM
In TECNO PERIPATETICUM, technology is no longer merely a tool but becomes a living organism. The exhibition unfolds across a hybrid landscape where nature, matter and artificiality merge until every boundary disappears. A journey through works by Michele Bazzoli, Esther Bruggink, Stefano Caimi, Stefano Serusi, Andrew Thornton Hick, Leonardo Ulian and Yuri Zupancic.

To Shop - La Balena Bookshop
La Balena is a project where books, art, poetry and music coexist in a space dedicated to those who love words and images. Inside the whale's belly, a spacious and ever-changing environment takes shape, where different artistic languages come together without boundaries.
