Meet the Masters of Air

Air Max is not just a shoe, for many collectors is a form of personal expression, a way of life, for some it is even an obsession. With the expression Master of Air, Nike intends to describe the 9 collectors that over time have accumulated thousands of Air Max, including some of the rarest collaborations produced by the brand. Here's a brief presentation of these collectors, who share a deep passion for the Visible Air:

 

#1 Angela / Las Vegas. Her passion for Air Max is engraved on her skin with the Air Max 95 logo above her foot, and she has also other two tattoos dedicated to Nike. Basically, she is always wearing her Air.

 

#2 Lalla / Paris. Known as The Sneaker Teacher, Lalla believes that "Air Max is simply a classic that does not age, as a classic hip hop album or a Picasso painting”.

 

#3 Mauricio / Mexico City. "I onky speak of sneakers. All day, every day". This is a short and effective description of Mauricio, that among the most precious models in his possession has a pair of Air Max 90 Infrared signed by Tinker Hatfield.

 

#4 Iceberg / Berlin. Obsessed with Air Max, he owns a closet containing 2000 pairs, including the most valuable model: a sample of Air Max 1 Albert Heijn. For Iceberg it was love at first sight.

 

#5 Stevey / London. "Bury me in my OG" exclaimed Stevey, describing all the love he feels for the Air Max. His greatest passion is hunting the next rare pair of Air Max, of course.

 

#6 Chanica / Amsterdam. With more than 500 pairs of sneakers, of which 300 are Air Max, Chanica is proud of her love for the Visible Air that lasts over time, stating "Air Max was my first love”.

 

#7 DJ Wich / Prague. DJ, producer and hip-hop junkie, is also a collector of Air Max, and his love for them knows no bounds. "The Air Max are inextricably linked with my life and my memories", and his passion was also a source of inspiration for his cat's name: Bubble.

 

#8 Krysion / Beijing. He has far less Air Max compared to the other Masters of Air, but the 25 that are in his closet are all rare collaborations - of which his favorite is the Air Max 1 Big Proof. His passion for Air Max allowed him to be in touch with friends all over the world and thanks to this knowledge, his collection is unique.

 

#9 G-Ken / Tokyo. G-Ken is willing to travel a few miles to make sure that you really want, and the camp-out were a constant. Given the number of sneakers in his possession, his kitchen has become an extension of his Air Max archive - his favorite model is the Air Max BW.
