Brain Dead dedicates a collection to 'Lost in Translation 21 years after the release of the cult film

On August 29, 2003, Lost in Translation - a film written and produced by Sofia Coppola - premiered in the United States. The film garnered considerable success, leading to the victory of several awards: at the Golden Globes, Bill Murray won the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, while Sofia Coppola received the award for Best Screenplay. These accolades added to the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, all achieved in 2004, exactly 20 years ago. The aesthetic of the film influenced an entire generation, with the weight of the love story between the lead characters played by Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson unfolding inside the iconic Park Hyatt hotel in Tokyo.

21 years later, Lost in Translation still tops the charts of the greatest films of all time, and its soundtrack, featuring artists like The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, and Roxy Music, among others, remains a fundamental element of contemporary culture. Today, Brain Dead celebrates this iconic film by releasing two special t-shirts (in two versions) and a shopper bag featuring a print of the Tokyo skyline. Designed by cartoonists Sammy Harkham and Bill Connors, the items debut in conjunction with the film screening at Brain Dead Studios Fairfax in Los Angeles. The collection is available on the official website of Brain Dead Studios Fairfax, as well as in all brand stores.
