The Mercatino della Domenica was conceived by Commestibile and Davide Longoni with the aim of rethinking the format of traditional wine fairs. Far from large exhibition halls and the frenzy of industry events, the initiative proposes a more intimate and convivial experience, where artisanal winemakers and enthusiasts can meet and engage directly.

The first event will take place on Sunday, March 15, from 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at Spazio Tertulliano, located at Via Tertulliano 68 in Milan, home to the laboratory and shop of Davide Longoni. For the occasion, the space will host more than ten natural wine producers from across Italy, alongside a selection of some of the finest Italian artisanal food products, designed to accompany the tastings.

It will be a day dedicated to meeting small wine artisans, ready to share their labels and stories with authenticity, in an informal setting far removed from the fast-paced rhythm of major industry fairs. In addition to tastings, the event will also feature other moments designed to enrich the experience: a corner dedicated to independent publishing with the magazine L’Integrale, published by Iperborea, and a DJ set that will accompany the audience throughout the event.

Within Spazio Tertulliano, several realities connected to the worlds of art and communication also coexist. Among them is Avantgarden Gallery, founded in Milan in 2007 and now a reference point for urban art. During the April event, it will be open to the public with Nothing is Forever, a solo exhibition exploring the relationship between urban space, institutions and impermanence.

Media partner of the initiative will be nss edicola, the cultural platform by nss magazine that explores contemporary urban life through its cities, its people and its places. For the occasion, it will be present with its mobile newsstand, helping to document and support the event.

The project will continue in the following months with additional events on April 12, May 10 and June 14, transforming the space into a meeting point dedicated to wine, good food and conviviality. More than a simple tasting, the Mercatino della Domenica aims to be an invitation to slow down and experience wine as a moment of connection and discovery, within a warm and welcoming environment.

With a ticket priced at 18 euros, available in advance on the Superb platform, visitors will be able to taste the labels of the participating winemakers and speak directly with them.
