Harry Nuriev and Westwing reinvent the domestic space in an innovative collaboration Between furniture and decorative objects but also sculptural seating, graphic glassware, textiles
With eleven years of career and finely honed experience in his design studio and creative platform Crosby Studio, Harry Nuriev, artist, architect, and interior designer, recently presented in Paris an unprecedented collaboration with Westwing. A collection that successfully combines the creator's bold language with the refined style of the German brand, giving rise to a capsule of furniture, textiles, and decorative objects that reinterpret the domestic space as a place of expression and identity, featuring sculptural seating, graphic glassware, and tactile textiles, where minimalist shapes and digital patterns become tools to tell new ways of inhabiting space.
"It was an interesting experience to democratize my universe and work on a large-scale collection that will arrive directly at the homes of people I don’t know. For me, it was important to maintain my DNA and the style that characterizes me in the collection. I wanted to ensure that each piece could speak to its owner without me standing next to them to explain things. I wanted to create a diverse collection that could be accessible, with a different idea, and that people could then start collecting, one piece at a time, starting with a very small piece that could eventually turn into a large collection," Nuriev explained to us at the launch event. "It’s a simple collection in its forms but full of artistic presence. The checkered pattern, a distinctive element, is born from the idea of a zero space: a blank digital canvas, from which anything can emerge," he continued. The project also includes a 360-degree campaign and a special, intimate program behind the scenes of Harry Nuriev’s creative universe, Crosby Studios.
