5 things to do this weekend in Milan
From 9 to 11 May
May 9th, 2025
We have arrived in the month of May, but the weather is still lagging behind. Between rain and storms, Milan is struggling to celebrate spring, although this weekend offers plenty of opportunities to do so. From the Italian growers' festival Orticola at the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens to markets in the city center, the city is ready to kick off the flower season. As every week, nss is ready to offer you the best tips for your weekend.
Here are five things to do in Milan this weekend, from May 9 to 11.
To Eat - Misale
Last April, Misale opened in Milan, a bistro inspired by childhood to revisit the concept of comfort food. Inside a charming orange and blue venue, simple yet flavorful and memory-rich dishes are served, such as bread and ragù, stuffed ravioli, and meatballs in sauce.
Via Alfonso Lamarmora, 38
To Discover - The Prism Core Center
The Prism Way is a meditative journey (also available online) that can now be experienced at the permanent space of The Prism Core Center, in Piazza Napoli. Artist Stefano Simontacchi has created an immersive journey divided into seven stages designed for meditation and achieving greater awareness. Admission is free, but it is possible to visit the center by booking a guided tour online.
Piazza Napoli, 22
To Chill - Mica
Mica is also one of Milan's latest openings, a place that offers café service, a bar, and even ceramics classes and other artistic practices. From painting to crochet, from Sunday brunches to weekend aperitifs, Mica offers fun and relaxation at all hours of the day — although it closes at 5:30 PM.
Via Teodosio, 81
To Shop - Artetica
This weekend, the design, fashion, and architecture studio and store Artetica is organizing a pop-up store in the Isola neighborhood. You can find vintage and new treasures for all interests: fabrics, beads, ceramics, garments, accessories, and home items. With great dedication to craftsmanship, Artetica promises a weekend of sophisticated creativity.
Via Pepe, 20
To Club - Ex Macello
This Saturday, the spaces of Ex Macello will be taken over by Le Cannibale. In this suggestive location, the electronic music collective will host unique DJ sets featuring Nicola Mazzetti and Velasco, ready to offer house, electro, and techno music for all fans of the genre.
Viale Molise, 62
