The Best five things about New York Women Fashion Week SS15 Give Me Five

New York as always opened the dance of Fashion Weeks and did so with a pot-pourri of colors, moods and trends that have left us almost speechless.

Almost 'cause our top 5 is finally ready, a bull's eye as always focused on the "merveilles de mode" in the city that never sleeps. Even us we have practically never slept  to keep up with her but in the end it we came to the head.

Ladies and gentlemen, here you are the winning quintet.

# 1 MARGIELA - DENIM HEART

That's our great love, it has always been, and even when it rushes towards the abandonment of the bold optical white and androgynous silhouettes never ceases to amaze us.

MMM is a silent celebration of the dusty tones, a perfect rhythm of ash and cream, sugar paper and black, pearl gray and mustard seed, which, like the petals of a delicate flower, are enclosing a more rude heart: the denim.

All over on chemises, in patchwork with paisley, on the accessories or in the classic version of jackets and jeans, denim, in strictly super light wash, it is definitely the winning thrust.

# 2 ALEXANDER WANG - THE SNEAKER METAMORPHOSIS

The sneaker mania rages between all the designers and Alexander Wang, genius as only he can be, make it becoming the starting point for his collection. Rather than proposing his version p-à-p, Wang goes to steal the purest essence of the sport shoe and with it he dresses the body, showing how a very famous Stan Smith can become a perfect outfit for the tennis court or by transferring the ribs the sole of a running in a bar-code belt or in color shocking short structured dresses, mid-way between the asphalt and the cyber space and, of course, brought only more than vertiginous heels.

# 3 JEREMY SCOTT - DIRTY HIPPIE MALIBU BARBIE

We could written pages and pages about of Jeremy Scott's last  fashion show: we have decided to dwell on the details; never negligible, much less for this season in which Scott involves the most chatted, the most naked, the unstoppable Miley Cyrus

Playful and childish dresses, stolen from the closet of an  adolescent, rebellious but not too much (see the t-shirt "do not take drugs") and accessories of the new "Dirty Hippie" collection, signed Cyrus, that remind us of the necklaces made at school with plastic beads and multicolor pom poms. The protagonist of the rose-colored vision of Scott is a Barbie Malibu 2.0 self-deprecating and cheeky, that we can already imagine lying next summer in the sun of the legendary (and much coveted) Californian beaches.

# 4 PROENZA SCHOULER - FRINGES 'GAMES

A sporty mood, made of deconstructed garments and inspired by the male wardrobe that softens at the end, as a "pinch of sugar" on the bottom of a cup of coffee. The collection for next spring / summer by duo Hernandez - McCollough elevates the concept of activewear with precious leathers and fabrics, crochet and them, the undisputed protagonists of the show: the fringes. Not only on longuettes combined with perforated oversized cardigans, but also on evening bags and flat sandals, which will accompany with their rustling the frenetic races the city princessess.

# 5 HOOD BY AIR - WOMEN POWER

Excess but always for a good cause: male models of Shayne Oliver's fashion show parade with neck and hands blocked by plexiglass chockers and, given the recent events of Ferguson (Mo.), it is difficult not to read in these accessories a political criticism. Politically correct fashion but also female sexual claim, with chains and crutches as obvious signs of a dramatic collapse of machismo, starting from the catwalk.
