
“EROTICA” is Lauro De Marinis’ first collection for Dondup Presented at San Siro Stadium during the iconic concert event

Dondup unveils “EROTICA”, the first collection conceived and signed by Lauro De Marinis in his new role as the brand’s Creative Director. The collection made its debut at San Siro Stadium during his concert in front of more than 60,000 people. In a unique setting where music merged with fashion and, for the very first time, a genuine runway show took place during a concert in one of the world’s most iconic venues. EROTICA is the first chapter of this journey. The name itself is a manifesto: bringing sensuality back to contemporary fashion, not as provocation but as elegance. EROTICA tells the story of a woman who does not seek approval. Instinct becomes awareness. Awareness becomes eroticism. Embodying and wearing this philosophy were international top models such as Frida Aasen, Cindy Mello and Ikram Abdi.
A collection that celebrates the contemporary woman: ambitious, magnetic and commanding, whose presence naturally asserts itself without ever declaring her power. It is expressed through attitude, presence and a controlled sensuality, a crafted allure rooted in the Italian tailoring tradition, where the female body is enhanced, never displayed. Seduction emerges from the precision of a cut, the drape of a fabric and the way a garment embraces and follows movement. “I wanted to create something that would endure. Not as a face, but as an author. EROTICA is the way I see women: strong, elegant and aware of their own bodies. Sensuality is not an accessory, it is an attitude. And fashion must know how to tell that story,” said Lauro De Marinis.
From this vision comes a collection of 50 pieces, including garments and accessories, developed through a narrative of contrasts and harmonies, where sartorial rigour meets bold sensuality. Pinstripes and tailoring create an authoritative silhouette, while sheer fabrics, luminous surfaces, dresses and suits perfectly contour the female body, and precious details introduce tension and provocation. Designed for FW26/27, the garments and accessories together establish a new vocabulary for Dondup: more mature, more decisive and more aware of its own identity.
The collection’s defining element is the pinstripe, interpreted in shades of white, grey and tonal variations, becoming the symbol of a new vision of elegance. Black and white define a femininity that is assertive, sophisticated and self-assured. Every look expresses strength, character and individuality. Seduction is not a search for validation, but the natural expression of a woman fully aware of her own worth. Alongside tailoring, materials and craftsmanship enhance the collection’s sensory dimension and Dondup’s savoir-faire: rich velvets, three-dimensional lurex knitwear, silk shantung and weightless chiffon.
