Here's what went down at the Fuorimoda event in Paris Two days of talks and music with Kris Van Assche, Abra, Mats Rombaut, Eugene Rabkin, Bruno Casanovas and Sabukaru
Starting January 22 and right in the middle of Fashion Week, nss returned to Paris for a special event. Fuorimoda, a project created to make fashion more inclusive during one of the most exclusive weeks of the year, was hosted in the evocative spaces of Lucid Interval for a series of special talks. In just 48 hours, the French nss community was able to hear firsthand the stories of some of the most relevant creatives in contemporary fashion.
The event kicked off with a talk by Kris Van Assche, Belgian designer and former creative director of Dior Homme, in conversation with journalist Eugene Rabkin; followed by Mats Rombaut together with Abra, two designers who are changing the rules of footwear and menswear. The evening concluded with a special performance by the brothers Pol and a DJ set by The Velvet Brothers. The following day, Fuorimoda and nss invited the co-founder of Nude Project, Bruno Casanovas, and then hosted a special takeover by the magazine Sabukaru, moderated by My Clothing Archive. Created with the support of Heineken, which provided the perfect refreshments for every talk, the two days wrapped up with another immersive DJ set, this time by Lipstains.
Here are some photos from the event, shot by Mattéo Colson.
