Rome, a city that embodies Italian history, art, and culture, will be the next stage for the events of Dolce&Gabbana for the presentation of the Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections, scheduled for the first half of July 2025. The joint announcement between Dolce&Gabbana and Rome Capitale emphasizes the importance of this collaboration, which will transform the Capital into a global showcase of Italian sartorial and artisanal excellence and concentrate the seasonal events of the two legendary designers, who have always been great supporters and passionate about Italian cultural heritage, and have also supported the FAI, into a privileged itinerary through the beauties of the Eternal City. Since 2012, Dolce&Gabbana has embarked on a symbolic journey through Italy with the Grand Tour d’Italia project, celebrating the wonders of the country. Each edition is a tribute to Italian culture, beauty, and tradition, with stops in iconic cities such as Taormina, Venice, Naples, and Palermo. According to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Rome represents much more than a location: it is an inexhaustible source of artistic inspiration and a symbol of Italian identity. "Rome is a place close to our hearts, an extraordinary city that embodies our love for Italy and its history," said the two designers.

The choice of Rome reflects the desire to weave together fashion, local traditions, and the majesty of the city in a unique celebration that will take place, among other things, in the same year as the Jubilee, when the capital will be a destination for a huge number of tourists from all over the world. The events will be held in some of the most significant locations in the city, iconic places that will be revealed soon. Historic monuments, iconic squares, and hidden corners will frame the presentations of the Collections, making every moment memorable and unique. The collaboration with the city administration has been crucial in making this ambitious project a reality. Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome, expressed enthusiasm for this opportunity: "In next July, the unique Collections that will be presented, expressions of the highest Italian craftsmanship, will shine in an even more beautiful and modern Rome, enriched by the Jubilee works and the restoration of Caput Mundi." The Councillor Alessandro Onorato also emphasized the significance of this event, defining it as a major international showcase for Rome: "We have made available the best locations, unique places that no other city can boast. It will be a great promotional showcase that will generate enormous economic returns."

Dolce&Gabbana's presence in Rome will not just be a celebration of fashion, but a cultural and artistic experience that will put past and future in dialogue. Through their Collections, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana aim to tell Italian stories and create universal connections, offering the world a modern and inclusive vision of sartorial tradition. Now, we can only wait for the details on the locations and the surprises that Dolce&Gabbana will offer in this extraordinary edition of the Grand Tour d’Italia.
