Shonda Rhimes has finally unveiled the topic of her first project for Netflix.

After creating for ABC planetary hit shows such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal", the screenwriter will make a TV series about Anna Delvey, a fake rich German heiress who managed to cheat the most important people in New York City, with the promise to open a foundation of contemporary art in the Big Apple.

The girl, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, was an intern at Purple Magazine and, flaunting a non-existent wealth, deceiving dozens of people and falsifying bank documents managed to break through the elite of NY. Delvey eventually accumulated debts for about 270,000 dollars.

Delvey's story has gone viral after a New York Magazine article written by Jessica Pressler and titled “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People”. Delvey is now awaiting trial and could risk up to fifteen years in prison.

The wait for this new series has officially begun.
