Milano Fashion Library presents "Mario Testino: a published history" The exhibition, open from June 20 to 24, will trace forty years of Testino's career through the printed page

Milano Fashion Library will host from Saturday 20 to Wednesday 24 June Mario Testino: A Published History, five days to explore the work of one of the most iconic and influential photographers, who captured contemporary fashion through the printed page. The exhibition traces forty years of career through a selection of magazines, catalogues and monographs dedicated to Testino's work. 

Over the course of the 4 days of the exhibition, over eighty original publications will be available to consult, divided into thematic areas.The first, focused on magazines, will trace Testino's editorial work for various publications such as V Magazine, The Face and Vanity Fair, as well as Vogue in international editions. The second section is dedicated to fashion catalogues, including advertising and campaign materials created for maisons such as Versace, Bruno Magli, Burberry, Gucci, Donna Karan, Roberto Cavalli, Paul Smith and Missoni. Finally, the third section will present a selection of monographs and publications, tracing his artistic evolution and photographic language, from his earliest commissions to his most celebrated works.

Admission is free and the exhibition will be open every day from 10am to 6pm. The venue is Milano Fashion Library, in Via 1 Maggio in Vanzago, in the province of Milan: an internationally recognised archive housing over 80,000 publications dating back to 1850, operating both as a library and a bookshop, with a physical location and an online platform.
