5 Things to do in Milan this weekend From February 20 to 22

In Milan, the sun has finally arrived, just in time for the start of Milan Fashion Week. Even though there is still a month to go before spring, you can already feel a different atmosphere. And as we all know, good weather also brings back the urge to go out and discover all the activities the city has to offer. If you are looking for inspiration or some ideas to plan your weekend, the weekly column by nss magazine is here to guide you through the events you can’t miss.

So here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Eat - Osteria Afrodite

Osteria Afrodite is the new project by Redi Shijaku, opened in November 2024. Located just steps away from Città Studi, it embodies the idea of the “New Italian Classic”: dishes inspired by tradition in a warm and welcoming space whose interiors evoke the atmosphere of Italian villas from the 1980s.

Via Donatello, 9

To Chill - Zazie Milano

A charming and intimate wine bar with the atmosphere of a Parisian bar à vin. Zazie (a reference to the novel Zazie dans le métro by Raymond Queneau) opened in April 2024 in the Piola area and offers a carefully curated selection of wines from small Italian producers as well as from France. You can order cheese boards, giardiniera or focaccia. Zazie is the perfect spot for an aperitivo or a cozy after-dinner drink in an intimate and welcoming setting.

Viale Gran Sasso, 27

To Discover - Andro Wekua: By the Window

The solo exhibition of Andro Wekua, inaugurated on Thursday, 19 February in the spaces of Ordet and realised in collaboration with Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, interweaves sculpture, painting, collage and film within a dreamlike environment. Suspended between memory and imagination, it explores adolescence as an existential condition—poised and vulnerable.

Via Lippi 4

To Shop - East Market

East Market, this Sunday, invites everyone to take part in its market. It’s the perfect opportunity if you’re looking to shop among a selection ranging from collectibles, antiques, vintage pieces and art. With over 300 exhibitors from all over Italy, you can browse the stands, stop by the Food Market and grab a beer while enjoying the DJ sets that entertain visitors and vendors from the afternoon onwards.

Via Mecenate, 88/A

To Party - Raus with Dr. Rubinstein

RAUS is not a party. It is a nocturnal cultural device. A movement created to step outside: outside the system, outside the implicit rules of nightlife, outside binary logics and commercial formats. Arca Milano will host the first date on Friday, February 20, featuring techno DJ Dr. Rubinstein as special guest, alongside new talents Subsequence and The Arcadie. Don’t miss the chance to take part in a one-of-a-kind event.

Via Rimini, 38
