Here's what went down during Fuorimoda University at Milano Fashion Week FW26 The new edition of Fuorimoda that brought the front row into Italian universities
On the occasion of the Milano Fashion Week FW26 Women’s, nss magazine presented Fuorimoda University, the evolution of the Fuorimoda project designed to bring Fashion Week closer to younger generations and make the runway experience more accessible, inclusive and democratic. Fuorimoda University brought the experience of the most anticipated shows of the FW26 season directly into the classrooms, offering moments of shared viewing and open discussion not only to students of the host academies, but to anyone who wished to attend and follow the shows. During Fashion Week, the editorial team of nss magazine met with students, professors and figures from the Italian editorial fashion scene at some of the leading educational institutions in the field: NABA, IED, Accademia Costume e Moda and Ferrari Fashion School in Milan, IUAD in Naples and Accademia Costume e Moda in Rome.
The project kicked off with the FW26 show by Diesel, opening a series of meetings dedicated to the main shows of the Milanese calendar. Among the most anticipated moments was also the debut of Maria Grazia Chiuri at Fendi, followed by students with commentary from journalist and lecturer Letizia Schatizinger and Umberto Sannino, Head of Fashion School at IED Milan. The program then continued with further events dedicated to the most relevant shows of the week, including Prada and Gucci. With Fuorimoda University, nss magazine thus strengthens its vision of an open, shared and accessible fashion system, placing dialogue, education and the active participation of new generations back at the center.
