MIMIR unveils “THE AWAKENING” at Milan Fashion Week The latest collection from Norwegian label by Alexander Varner

MIMIR is the Scandinavian brand founded by Alexander Varner, which on January 15 will present, at the Il Vicolo Art Gallery in via Maroncelli 2, the SS26 collection “THE AWAKENING”. Thus, the awakening proposed by MIMIR relates to functionality and style, elements that define Scandi-chic and that are integrated into the narrative and poetry of Nordic mythology. As its logo suggests – two intertwined Ms – it is a story made of interweavings and stratifications, rooted in tradition, in the awareness of the materials employed and in design quality and thought.

Intelligibility and simplicity are the core values of the collection. The minimalist imprint presents itself as a tool to bring clarity, inviting the consumer on a journey made of metaphors, memory and references to Norwegian culture. The capsule develops through volumes and architectural lines: blazers with balanced and tapered shoulders, trousers with a barely hinted crease, leather cut close to the body and sinuous, yet never ostentatious. The color palette follows the same minimalist poetics with tones such as stone black, grey, white and sand beige.
